Factors leading to substandard production quality of corn processing equipment

By, WinTone 14 Oct, 2021

In many corn processing plants, the staff often encounter some problems during the operation of the corn processing equipment, and the manufacturers will also put forward some requirements when recommending users to establish a plant site to meet the production requirements. However, ensuring that the production quality of corn processing equipment meets the standards is the top priority. What factors will affect its production?

1. Poor ventilation

Under normal operating conditions, due to the repeated impact and friction of the medium in the cylinder, the temperature in the mill continues to rise, causing water vapor to be generated from the water-bearing materials. If the ventilation effect is not good, the water vapor cannot be discharged in time.

It will stick to the steel ball, causing the ball or rubbing phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to control the ventilation volume. If the passing effect is good, not only the qualified fine materials can be brought out in time, but also the over-crushing phenomenon can be effectively reduced, and the equipment temperature can be lowered.

2. Unreasonable feeding

During operation, uniform feeding is a necessary condition to ensure the normal operation of the production of corn. If the feeding is too little, the impact of the steel ball will increase, resulting in media waste; if the feeding is too much, the grinding ability will be insufficient, resulting in saturation. Therefore, corn processing equipment manufacturers need to strictly follow the feeding standards for feeding.

3. The grinding granularity is too large

When the grinding particle size is too large, it is difficult to adapt to the impact and effect of the grinding body. The first bin of corn processing will be broken to increase the amount of steel balls to enhance the impact and grinding ability. This situation can easily cause a bin to be crushed. Reasonable situation. Under normal circumstances, it is advisable to control the grinding particle size to 15mm. For large-scale machinery and equipment, due to the strong crushing ability, the grinding particle size can be adjusted to 25~30mm.

4. Excessive water entering the mill

When the water content of the grinding material is large, the grinding body and the liner will adhere, causing paste grinding, clogging the grate, and causing the phenomenon of full grinding. However, a small amount of water can effectively reduce the temperature and reduce static electricity. Therefore, the average water content of the mill is generally controlled at <15.

5. The temperature of the grinding material is too high

Generally, when the temperature of the input material is too high, it is easy to reduce the grinding efficiency. When the temperature exceeds 100°C, the air film isolated between the small particles of the material will be destroyed, causing adhesion. In order to reduce the temperature in the mill and improve the efficiency of milling, a small amount of mist water can be sprayed into the milling bin to reduce the temperature in the mill to below 50°C.

6. "Satisfaction" appears

When the output is getting lower and lower, corn processing equipment manufacturers should first consider whether there is "full grinding", which is the chief culprit affecting corn processing output. The reasons for "full grinding" are: too much feed; the hardness of the grinding material becomes harder and the particle size becomes larger; the water content of the grinding material is too large; the steel ball grading is unreasonable; Blockage.
